Field Service
At Stewart’s we know there is never a ‘right time’ for a mechanical or electrical failure; with every minute of down time potentially costing you hundreds or thousands of dollars. Our team of emergency engineers are available 24/7 for on-site troubleshooting and repairs, to get you up and running as soon as possible.
Troubleshooting
On arrival at the plant, we will conduct a thorough assessment of your machinery and its locale, from start to finish. We work closely alongside your operators to determine the problem area and potential cause of failure. We then meticulously conduct a series of examinations in order for us to have a solid perspective on the overall condition your equipment.
Once the root of the fault has been detected our engineers can give a step-by-step explanation as to what is the problem, how it occurred and what options are available to you.
Our trouble shooting service is available for electric motors, pumps and all electromechanical machinery in a number of diverse industries. These include; water processing, mining, bottling plants, power plants and food processing.
Dynamic Balancing
Balancing problems may be due to a vast number of reasons; these include corrosion, wear, distortion, deposit build up or even faulty assembly or the altering of components. At Stewart’s Electric motor works we are equipped with a wide range of transportable equipment so we can balance your equipment without it having to leave the site. We specialize in the balancing of electric motors, fans and blowers from various types of industries.
Vibration Analysis
With vibration analysis equipment we can observe any changes in the condition of all your rotating equipment. This allows us to quickly detect and correct any problems, before they spiral. Our vibration analysis service can increase both the longevity of your machine and its productivity.
Laser Alignment
With our advanced laser technologies we can accurately align the shafts of your machinery to ensure they run smoother, more efficiently, experience fewer breakdowns and lost production time, ultimately increasing your production revenue and profits. We are able to align most equipment, including Electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, direct couplings and belt drivers.
Training
In addition to the above we offer an on-site training service where our engineers instruct your machine operators in the basics of electrical and mechanical testing, so they themselves are self sufficient in testing their own machines for problems with balancing or vibration.
Removal and Re-Installation
Our Field Service includes the removal and re-installation of all equipment.
